PETER FINNIGAN ARCHITECTS

This successful project is a remodelling, modernisation and extension of an old and run down Church of Scotland manse. The brief was to incorporate modern living spaces within the existing fabric of the manse, create an extension that would take advantage of spectacular views over the Boardhouse Loch, create a new entrance, a new garage/boot room and create a suitable landscaped setting for the project.

The age of the Manse resulted in the original internal and external building fabric having to be stripped back to the original stone structure before being rebuilt to the highest modern standards whilst respecting the external appearance of the original building.
